From: Airport

Bear left following signs for Knoxville/Oak Ridge and exit onto Rt.129 (Alcoa Highway). Continue until you see exit signs for Oak Ridge (I-140). Exit right and follow I-140. After crossing over I-40, continue straight ahead onto Rt. 162 (Pellissippi Parkway) until it merges with Rt. 62 West. Continue straight ahead on Rt. 62 across the bridge into Anderson County. Stay to the left following signs for Oak Ridge to Illinois Ave / Rt. 62 W. Crossing over the Oak Ridge Turnpike continue to follow Hwy 62 into Oliver Springs 4.3 miles to a traffic light with a Food City Grocery Store on the right.  Continue on Hwy 62 1.2 miles to Windrock Road, just past the Oliver Springs overpass.  Turn right on Windrock Road and travel .8 mile to Windrock Park Lane on the right or an additional 4.2 miles to the trail head parking lot.

From: I-40 west from Asheville

Take I-40 west (Take the I-640 bypass in Knoxville due to construction and follow the Chattanooga/Nashville signs until you reconnect with I-40 west. www.SmartFIX40.com) Take exit 376A (Highway 162N) to Oak Ridge. Hwy 162 will merge with Hwy 62 in Solway.  Follow Hwy 62 west through Oak Ridge (Hwy 62 is also named Illinois Ave. in Oak Ridge) to the intersection of Hwy 95 (also named Oak Ridge Turnpike).  Follow Hwy 62 into Oliver Springs 4.3 miles to a traffic light with a Food City Grocery Store on the right.  Continue on Hwy 62 1.2 miles to Windrock Road, just past the Oliver Springs overpass.  Turn right on Windrock Road and travel .8 mile to Windrock Park Lane on the right or an additional 4.2 miles to the trail head parking lot.

From: I-40 East - Nashville

Take Harriman/Rockwood Exit and turn right on Highway 27/61.  Follow Hwy. 61 to the 1st traffic light in Oliver Springs.  Go 200 yards, turn left onto Windrock Road and travel .8 mile to Windrock Park Lane on the right or an additional 4.2 miles to the trailhead parking lot.

From I-75 South from Lexington

Take I-75 south (I-640 West) to I-40 West.  Take exit 376A (Highway 162N) to Oak Ridge. Hwy 162 will merge with Hwy 62 in Solway.  Follow Hwy 62 west through Oak Ridge (Hwy 62 is also named Illinois Ave. in Oak Ridge) to the intersection of Hwy 95 (also named Oak Ridge Turnpike).  Follow Hwy 62 into Oliver Springs 4.3 miles to a traffic light with a Food City Grocery Store on the right.  Continue on Hwy 62 1.2 miles to Windrock Road, just past the Oliver Springs overpass.  Turn right on Windrock Road and travel .8 mile to Windrock Park Lane on the right or an additional 4.2 miles to the trailhead parking lot.

From I-75 North from Chattanooga

Take exit 376A (Hwy 162N) to Oak Ridge.  Hwy 162 will merge with Hwy 62 in Solway.  Follow Hwy 62 west through Oak Ridge (Hwy 62 is also named Illinois Ave. in Oak Ridge) to the intersection of Hwy 95 (also named Oak Ridge Turnpike).  Follow Hwy 62 into Oliver Springs 4.3 miles to a traffic light with a Food City Grocery Store on the right.  Continue on Hwy 62 1.2 miles to Windrock Road, just past the Oliver Springs overpass.  Turn right on Windrock Road and travel .8 mile to Windrock Park Lane on the right or an additional 4.2 miles to the trailhead parking lot.
